Wash and soaked lentils for about 10 mins. Take lentils into the pressure cooker, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and asafoetida. Pressure cook it for about 10 mins or till the lentils cooked half. (1whistle)

Take flour in a bowl and salt. Add a small about of water to knead the dough. The dough should be normal, not so soft no tight. Take an small size ball from the dough and roll it like a chapati then cut it in circular shape. Take each of pieces and give it a shape.

Add wheat roll into half cooked lentils and let it boil for another 5 mins or cook for 2-3 whistles.

Heat the pan with oil and temper with chopped ginger garlic, cumin seed, dry red chilli as you like. Garnish with coriander and onion. And serve hot hot.
