Ingredients

  1. for maggi:
  2. 3/4 cupwater
  3. 1 packmaggi tastemaker
  4. 1 packmaggi
  5. for pakoda:
  6. 1 cupcabbage shredded
  7. 1onion sliced
  8. 1/2capsicum sliced
  9. 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  10. 1chilli finely chopped
  11. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  13. 1/4 tspajwain / carom seeds
  14. 1/2 tspsalt
  15. 3/4 cupbesan / gram flour
  16. 1/4 cupmaida flour
  17. 2 tbsprice flour
  18. As requiredoil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, in tawa heat water and stir in maggi tastemaker, once the water comes to a boil break maggi. stir and cook until maggi softens and water evaporates.

    In a large mixing bowl take cabbage, onion, capsicum, also add ginger garlic paste, chilli, chilli powder, chaat masala, ajwain and salt.

    Further, add besan and maida flour, squeeze and mix until a thick mixture is formed. do not add any extra water as vegetables do contain moisture.

    Now add in prepared maggi and rice flour, mix gently without breaking them.

  5. 5

    Pinch a small ball sized mixture and drop in hot oil, stir occasionally, frying on medium flame until the pakoda turns golden and crisp. drain off the pakoda over a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.

    Finally, enjoy maggi pakoda with tomato sauce or green chutney.
