Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgBittergourd
  2. 3 bigOnions
  3. 20Green chillies
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. as requiredOil
  6. littleTamarind
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and cut bittergourd properly.

  2. 2

    Add bitter gourd, tamarind,salt,turmeric, little water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

    Meanwhile grind onions,salt chillies into paste.

  4. 4

    Once cool down drain the bittergourd and deep fry until it change it's colour.

  5. 5

    In the same kadhai remove excess oil and fry onion, chilli paste.Please be patience it takes little time.Cook until it leaves oil.

    Stuff this paste into fried bittergourd.

  7. 7

    Serve with hot rice.
