Ingredients

  • 1/4 cupkabuli channa
  • 1/4 cuppeas
  • 1 cuprice
  • 1/2 teaspoonCumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1/2 teaspoonFennel seeds (saunf)
  • 3cloves
  • 3cardamom
  • 2bay leaves
  • 1/2 inchcinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoonhing(asafoetida)
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoonghee
  • 3 cupwater
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonamchur(dry mango) powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 inchginger cut into small pieces

Steps

  1. 1

    Add ghee to the pressure cooker all kada masala then jeera saunf turmeric hing ginger mix well then add rice water and salt peas and kabuli chanaand cook for three whistles.

    Open mix well and serve with raita.
