Steps

Wash methi leaves and chop finely. In a pan add 1/2 tsp ghee and saute methi leaves for 5 mins. Remove and keep aside.

Boil green peas and keep aside.

Chop onion, tomato, chillies and ginger and garlic.

Soak almonds and cashews in warm water for 10 mins.

In a grinder add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, garlic, soaked almonds and cashews and add little water and make a smooth paste.

In a kadai add 2tbsp of ghee and add the onion tomato puree and add all masalas and saute till oil floats.

Then add malai, sugar,little water and let it boil. Then add sauted methi and green leaves. Add salt to taste. Add little water if required. Cook for 5-10 mins. Your yummy methi malai matar is ready. Serve hot with roti or naan.
