Ingredients

  1. 1 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1/2 tbspoil
  3. 1 pinchsalt
  4. as requiredwater to make the dough
  5. as requiredoil to deep fry
  6. 2 cupsmilk
  7. 1/2 cupwater
  8. 1/2 cupsugar
  9. 1 tbspraisins
  10. 1 tbspchopped almonds
  11. 1 tspghee

Cooking Instructions

    Mix together flour, oil and salt.

    Add water and make a stiff dough.

  3. 3

    Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.

    Divide the dough in two parts then roll each into a thin disc.

  5. 5

    Cut the disc into squares with a pizza cutter.

    To make flower, take a square and pinch the centre of one side first.

    Likewise, pinch all the sides together so that all the sides come to the center.

    Prepare all the flower and arrange on a plate.

    Leave them for 6-8 hours or overnight until they are dry.

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them until brown.

    Drain them on a plate and keep aside.

    Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and shallow fry the chopped almonds and raisins. keep aside.

    Heat the milk with water in a pan.

    When it starts boiling, add fried flowers and cook on low flame for 15 minutes or until they are softened.

    Add sugar and cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Switch off the flame.

    Now transfer into a serving bowl.

    Add fried almonds and raisins.

    Let it cool on room tempreture and serve.
