Moong Dal Dhokla With Twist

Soak moong dal overnight; grind in a mixer. Now add asafoetida, besan, salt, chilli powder, haldi powder, ginger & green chilli & chopped methi leaves; required water.

Mix well & keep aside. Keep the vessel on gas with water in which u are making dhokla; grease mould also

Add fruit salt in dhokla better; mix nicely & pour in to grease dhokla mould; sprinkle little red chilli powder over it. Steam for 20 minutes. Remove from mould & put tadka

Garnish & cut into the desired shape. Serve with mint chutney or choice of your chutney/sauce

If you want more sponge & watery then u can put little lemon juice + 1/2 tsp sugar + 1/4 cup water in tadka & put on dhokla
If you are eating for health purpose no need to add tadka with water
