Ingredients

10 minutes
Serves 2 servings
  1. 20-25 slicesbeef (thinly sliced hot pot beef)
  2. 1 tablespoonbutter (about 15 grams)
  3. 1 cupcorn kernels (about 200 grams)
  4. Chopped green onions, to taste
  5. Parmesan cheese, to taste
  6. 1 pinchblack pepper
  7. 1 bowlcooked rice
  8. 4 tablespoonsyakiniku sauce
  9. For homemade yakiniku sauce:
  10. 1 tablespoonsake
  11. 1 tablespoonmirin
  12. 1 tablespoonsugar
  13. 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  14. 2 tablespoonswater

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes
  1. 1

Cut the beef slices into pieces about 2-2.5 inches each, chop the green onions, and set aside the corn kernels and butter.

  2. 2

Heat the pan and add butter (be careful not to use too high heat as butter burns easily). Once melted, place the rice in the center of the pan and arrange the beef slices around the rice. Make a small well in the center of the rice and add corn kernels, black pepper, and green onions. Flip the beef slices, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  3. 3

Once the beef is about 60% cooked, serve the entire pan. Drizzle a little yakiniku sauce and mix before eating. Delicious! 😋

  4. 4

[For homemade yakiniku sauce] Heat a pan and dissolve sake, mirin, soy sauce, and sugar in water.
