Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a big bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder, dhania powder, garam masala powder, chilli garlic paste, chopped curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves. Prepare tadka of oil mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Pour into. Mix well. Mixture is ready.

Prepare equal size balls from it.

For batter, mix besan and rice flour. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add water gradually and make lump-free batter. Add soda bicarb and mix well.

Dip vadas into batter and deep fry in hot oil. Tasty batata vada is ready to serve. Enjoy hot with green chutney or garlic chutney.
