Ingredients

45 - 60 minutes
3 servings
  • 1big diced onion
  • 2big tomatoes
  • 1/2 kgbasmati rice
  • 1/4beef
  • 1carrot
  • 1big sweet pepper
  • 2 tablespoonsPilau masala
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Cooking oil
  • To tastesalt

Steps

45 - 60 minutes
  1. 1

    Prepare your ingredients and in a pot put oil and let it hear for 30 seconds

    Add diced onions and let it fry for 45 sec then add sweet pepper

    Stir for a minute then add garlic paste

    Stir then add diced carrots

    Stir for one minute the add diced tomatoes, stir and cover to cook for one minute

    To the paste formed add beef which has been boiled with ginger paste and salt

    Stir for a minute then add washed basmati rice

    Mix then add 3.5 cups of hot water and stir then cover to cook for 10 minutes

    When almost dry cover with a lid then put hot charcoal on top to simmer for 10 minutes

    Pilau is ready serve with a salad and enjoy
