Preheat your oven to 170c

In a large bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, cold butter and mix until mixture resembles bread crumbs

Add the milk and mix until it forms a firm dough
- 4
Divide the dough into two parts and roll out each onto a lightly floured surface or between parchment paper to your desired thickness.

Using a round cutter, cut our the dough and remove the excess dough to roll out later.

Place the cookie cut outs on a greased baking tray and using a skewer or tooth pick, poke holes all over the cookie dough and bake at 170c for 20mins.

Its cooked when you press lightly on it and it's firm to the touch. Remove from the oven and let it cool before transferring to a plate.
