Usually ,In South India we do suji ka halwa with saffron strands,pineapple,banana etc.For variation ,I tried it with mango puree and it came out very well.

Steps

Firstly,dry roast semolina.

Then in kadai,add ghee,and roast cashews and keep it aside.Then add milk,water,sugar and bring it to boil.

Now add,semolina slowly with continous stirring just to make sure,there are no lumps.

Now add ghee and stir it.Then add mango puree and mix thoroughly until the mango puree has combined well with the halwa.

Now garnish it with ghee fried cashews and raisins as topping and serve hot.
