Cook the daal and strain the water. Add powdered Jaggery and cardamom powder mix well

Mash with a masher. If it gets liqidy and unable to make balls, heat the mixture on high flame for 2 minutes then cool it. It will become tight and make small balls out of it

Seive maida and add water to make batter (similar to dosa batter consistency)

Heat oil. Dip the balls in the batter, make sure to cover balls completely with batter, otherwise oil will get dirty. Deep fry the balls

Can be stored for 2 days. Enjoy the traditional sweet burelu.
