Spicy garlic salsa

Ingredients

  1. 28 ozdiced tomatoes with juice's
  2. (if using fresh tomatoes add in one cup tomato juice)
  3. 1small yellow onion diced or 1/2 large yellow onion
  4. 1jalapeno seeded and diced
  5. 1/4 cupfresh copped parsley
  6. 4 tbspminced garlic
  7. 2 tbspred wine vinegar
  8. 1 tbspdry cilantro
  9. 1 tbspchilli powder
  10. 1 tbsppickling salt
  11. 2 tspcrushed red pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in a med sized pan.

  2. 2

    Heat over med heat. Bring to a summer stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Simmer for 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Cool in fridge for at least one hour.

  5. 5

    Enjoy!!

    Side note* this recipe works well for canning salsa as well.
