Wash and soak dal for 4-5 hours. Strain water.

Take a mixer jar put dal, salt, green chilli, red chilli powder, ginger, garlic,hing, jeera, dhaniya seeds,two tbsp water and grind it. The batter should be little coarsely ground.

Making Chillas: Spread batter on preheated pan. Make desired size and shape.

Cook with or without oil as desired. Turn sides every few seconds till it cooks evenly on both sides.

Turn gas off. And serve it with tomato sauce.
