Ingredients

  1. For the dough
  2. 2 cupsbesan
  3. 3/4 cupwheat flour
  4. 1/2 tbspred chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tsphaldi
  6. 3/4 tspsalt
  7. 2 tbspoil
  8. For filling
  9. 1/4 cupdalia dal
  10. 1 tbspkhuskhus roasted
  11. 1 tbspsesame seeds roasted
  12. 2 tbspdesiccated coconut roasted
  13. 1 tbsppeanuts roasted
  14. 1/2 tbspsaunf roasted
  15. 1 tbspchilli powder
  16. 1/2 tbspgaram masala
  17. 1/2 tbspzeera powder
  18. 1/2 tbspdhania powder
  19. 1/4 tsppepper powder
  20. 2 tbsppowdered suhar
  21. to tasteSalt
  22. 1 tbspoil
  23. 2 tbspthick imli chutney
  24. 1/2 tspamchoor powder
  25. 3 tbspoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the ingredients for the dough and make a firm dough. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.

    In a grinder jar combine all the filling ingredients except imli pulp and oil and grind well. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add the imli pulp and oil. Mix well.

    Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out to get thin chapati. Spread some imli chutney all over and sprinkle a good amount of the prepared ing. Press down with the rolling pin lightly. Roll the dough gently to get a long thin log. Secure the edges by pressing down. Cut into equal sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Place the small bhakarwadis on a baking tray. Brush the top with some oil and bake them in the oven at 230°C for 15 minutes. Turn over and bake again at 180°C for another 20 minutes. Enjoy!
