Prepare ingredients first..

In a pot heat oil..

Add cardamom, cinnamon sticks, black pepper corns, cumin seeds and star anise leave..

When aroma start add onion sliced cut..

Fry till golden brown slightly..

Now add chicken along with g. G paste..

Bhounfy well for 2,3 min until white..

Now add potatoes cubes and green chillies..

Now add tomato puree(you can omit if you want)

Mix and fry for 1 min..

Mean while in a bowl take yogurt add black pepper, coriander, cumin and chicken powder.. mix well

Now add this into chicken..

Bhounfy well till oil separate..

Now add 1cuo water and allow potatoes and chicken to b tender..

Mean while soak Rice for 19 min (you can do according to your rice quality)..

When potatoes and chicken is tender..

Add rice along with milk..

NOTE: milk makes your pulao white and always add rice first.. mix then add water accordingly..

Now add water and salt according to rice..

Mix and cover the lid..

Cook on high flame until. Water dries..

Now lower the flame and put on dum for 10,15 min..

Yummiliciuos chicken pulao is ready to serve with tarka raita..
