Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cuptamarind(remove seeds)
  • 3 tbsppounded jaggery
  • 1 tsproasted cumin powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • according tastesalt
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • as requiredpowdered sugar to roll out the balls

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Make the coarse paste of tamarind in a mixer jar, keep aside.

  2. 2

    Take pounded jaggery in a pan, add 1tsp of water on a low flame keep stirring add tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, asafoetida, keep stirring when it becomes sticky take out from the flame and cool it.

  3. 3

    Now apply some oil on the palm make small golis(balls) roll them out in sugar powder and it's done.
