Steps
- 1
First, clean and wash the spinach, then chop it finely. Heat water in a pot, add the spinach and a pinch of sugar, cover, and let it steam for 10 minutes without boiling.
- 2
Grind the spinach into a paste. Heat a pan, add oil, and once hot, add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Then add the finely chopped onion and fry until golden brown.
- 3
Add the pureed tomatoes and all other ingredients except paneer. Sauté the spices well for 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Cut the paneer into pieces and add to the gravy. Once the paneer is cooked, lightly shake in the garam masala powder and dried fenugreek leaves.
- 5
Our palak paneer is ready. Grate a little paneer on top.
- 6
Serve with paratha or naan.
