Bottle gourd sambar rice one pot meal
Steps

Pressure cook all the vegetables with rice and masoor dal for two whistles.

In ghee add jeera mustard hing onion tomato and cook till mushy.

Add salt red chilli powder turmeric and sambar powder.

Now add cooked rice and dal with the vegetable

Add tamarind and jaggery

Also add freshly ground coconut and green chilli (optional) for extra spice.mix and cook for 3to 4 min

You can adjust the consistency of this by adding more water if needed

Serve hot with applam dollop of Ghee and garnished with coriander.
