Dumbling in spicy sausage sauce

Mix flour + fennel + black pepper +baking powder+ milk + water as required to make a light dough, i.e not tough nor watery dough

Cover with a kitchen wrap and allow for a while to rest and get incoperated.

For your sauce

Grind the peppers, onions sausage.....

Heat oil and pour your mix, add the spices and seasoning and allow to get fried for a while, then add some broth or water to make it a bit watery (I don't like mine too watery 😊) let it cook for 5 min then off heat and keep aside.

Come back to your dough, put water in a pot + cinammon stick and our cinammon comes in handy now... allow to boil, then scoop your dough and be placing in the boiling water... It doesn't take time (8-10min) to be done so you don't want to step out. When the pot seems full cover the pot slightly on moderate heat and allow it to boil again, you will notice your dumblings popping up. You can carry one and try by cutting through the middle, to see if properly done.

Then scoop in a colander to drain, repeat the process if you have dough left, untill you are done with all the dough. (Sometimes dumplings get stuck at the bottom of the pot, don't worry if the dumblings start boiling you can use a spatula and shake the bottom pot a little you will notice them popping up). Finally put back your sauce on heat and Pour in your dumblings and allow to simmer for 2 min then....
