Rajasthani Guava Curry

Make a paste of chopped tomatoes, chopped ginger and chopped green chillies. Set aside

Wash the guava and cut into half. Deseed and cut into 1/4 pieces

In a wok heat oil, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder and stir for 1 min

Add tomato-chilli-ginger paste and stir well. Add red chilli powder and stir for 1-2 mins. Let the oil surface.

Add beaten yogurt and keep stirring.

Add guava pieces, stir well. Add some chopped coriander leaves. Add cashew nuts and raisins and mix well.Add garam masala and salt. Stir very well

Cover for 5 mins.

Plate and enjoy with Lachha Paratha
