Ingredients

16-20 pieces
  1. 1 TinBlack Beans, drained and rinsed
  2. 1ripped avocado
  3. 120 gvegetable cooking Oil
  4. 3 tbspGolden Syrup
  5. 2 tbspTreacle
  6. 100 gdark Chocolate and 50g milk chocolate (I use Lindt)
  7. 80 gCocoa powder
  8. 220 gGolden Caster sugar
  9. 125 gSelf raising flour
  10. 1/4 tspBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Pre heat oven to 180’c.

    Line up tray that you are going to make with with baking paper. I ise 8” round tray but you can use square tray.

    Whiz the Black Beans, avocado and vegetable oil in a food processor or food blender until very smooth. Add the Syrup and Treacle, blend it again until the mixture become really nice smooth.

    Add chocolate into a bowl and put on top on a saucepan and fill up with hot water. Turn the heat one medium heat. Let the hot water melting the chocolate slowly, keep stirring it. Reserve about 50 g of melting chocolate into a small bowl.

    Add the bean mix into melted chocolate bowl. Mix well until all combine.

    Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder together into a separate bowl, quick mix the dry ingredients together. Divided the dry mixture into 3 part and add the dry mixture into chocolate mixture one part at the time. Mix well in each round, repeat until all dry ingredients combine with wet ingredients.

    Transfer your brownies mixture into the baking tray that you prepare. Spread the surface nice and flat. Drizzle some of your chocolate on top of your brownies. Put in the oven to bake for 15-20 min, take it out and check with wooden skewers when it reach 15 min. If you put wooden skewer into the brownie and take it out without brownies mixture stick on the skewer means that your brownies is done.

    Once cooked, take them out and leave it to cool down a little bit. Serve with Icecream or double cream or on its own 😋
