Nanaimo Bars

I heard about this from a Canadian and thought the name was interesting, so I searched for a recipe and tried making it.
I used about 200 ml for 1 cup. I also substituted the heavy cream for milk. Here, used a powdered mix to make my custard cream, and it turned out great. Recipe by miow miow rabbit

1st Layer: Heat the first 3 ingredients over a bain-marie (butter, sugar, cocoa powder). Add the beaten egg and patiently heat on low heat until thick. Once it thickens, remove from the heat. Add the crushed graham crackers, finely chopped oven-roasted walnuts, and coconut. Mix together and press into the container.

2nd Layer: Warm the 2nd butter listed in the ingredients (1/2 cup) to room temperature. Combine this melted 1/2 of butter with the heavy cream, custard powder, and powdered sugar. Mix until fluffy and then place on top of Step 1.

Melt the chocolate. Add in 2 tablespoons of butter (the 3rd amount of butter listed) and mix together over low heat. Stop the heat and let it cool slightly. While it's still liquid, pour on top of Step 2. Place in the refrigerator until completely chilled.
