Ingredients

  • 3 tbspNuoc mam (Vietnamese fish sauce)
  • 3 tbspBrown sugar
  • 6 tbspWater
  • 1 tbspRice vinegar
  • 2 tbspLemon juice (or lime)
  • 1 tspSoy sauce
  • 4 cloveGarlic
  • 3Red chili peppers (or chili paste)
  • 1Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Preparation: Mash and finely chop the garlic. Slice the red chili peppers into small slices.

  2. 2

    Combine all the ingredients and mix well.

    Add vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce to taste.
