Ingredients

  1. Lasagna Noodles, No Bake
  2. (2) Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Grated
  3. (1/2) Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  4. For The Sauce
  5. (1) Lb Italian Sausage
  6. (1) Lb Ground Beef
  7. (1) Onion, Diced
  8. (1) Cup Sliced Mushrooms
  9. (2) Tbsp Garlic, Minced
  10. (1) 28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  11. (1) 28oz Can Diced Tomatoes
  12. (1) 12oz Can Tomato Paste
  13. (1/2) Cup Water
  14. (1) Tbsp Sugar
  15. (3) Tbsp Fresh Parsley, Chopped
  16. (3) Tsp Basil
  17. (1) Tsp Fennel Seed
  18. (1) Tsp Italian Seasoning
  19. (1) Tsp Salt
  20. (1) Tbsp Pepper
  21. For The Cheese Mixture
  22. (1 1/2) Lb Mozzarella Cheese, Grated
  23. (2) Egg
  24. (1) Lb Ricotta Cheese
  25. (1) Lb Cottage Cheese
  26. (3) Tbsp Fresh Parsley, Chopped

Cooking Instructions

    In a Large skillet add ground sausage, ground hamburger, onion, mushrooms and garlic. Fry until brown, drain excess fat.

    Add all remaining sauce ingredients stir well, simmer 35 minutes on low heat.

    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a large bowl add all of the cheese mixture ingredients. Stir well until a thick paste.

    In a Large baking pan (The one I use is 18 x 13), coat bottom and sides with olive oil. Add a large scoop of the meat sauce, spread out to coat bottom of pan. Add layer of noodles, spread half the cheese mixture over noodles. Spread half the meat sauce over the cheese mixture. Repeat 1 more layer of noodles, cheese mixture and meat sauce.

    Cover top with the 2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese, sprinkle the 1/2 cup of Parmesan over that. Sprinkle Parsley on top.

    Bake 45 minutes.

    Let rest 15 minutes.

. Check out my recipes as I add them. I bake, cook many types of food and I love to Smoke beef and pork. I use an offset wood smoker with an Bluetooth digital thermometer. If im feeling lazy I just go to my son's house and use his Traeger Grill. 😁 Fire and forget is boring LoL but yummy also. As the saying goes, " It's hot, brown and lots of it". I'm also working on a small cookbook for family. ❤️
