After going chestnut picking last weekend and roasting some on the BBQ (check my recipe if you're interested) I had some left over and made these tasty morsels as a starter for Sunday lunch. I must say, they were absolutely delicious! #chestnut #bacon #autumn #seasonalcooking #seasonalingredient

Using a sharp knife, make a slit on the flat side of each chestnut. Boil for about 10 -12 mins. Drain and peel

Wrap each one in a slice of bacon. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and roast in a preheated oven at 200 for 15 mins. Serve with cocktail sticks
