Heat the oil. Add asafoetida and grounded garlic. Add chopped onion. Saute for some time

Add freshly grounded green chillies and ginger paste. Saute for some time. Add tomatoes. Saute again for some time on low heat. Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt.

Countinue to saute for some time. Add roasted brinjal (after removing skin). Mix it well. Continue to cook on low heat. Add green garlic.

Add chopped fresh coriander leaves. Last add butter. Mix it well. Serve hot.
