Ingredients

45 minutes
3 tortillas = 48 chips
  1. 1/2 cupcorn flour (about 60 grams)
  2. 1/3 cupall-purpose flour (about 40 grams)
  3. 1/4 cupplus 1 teaspoon cold water (about 65 milliliters)
  4. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  5. Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, mix the corn flour, all-purpose flour, and water. Knead until you have a soft ball of dough that isn’t sticky.

    Divide the dough into 3 portions and roll each into a ball. Lightly flour your work surface. Using a rolling pin, roll each ball into a very thin tortilla, almost paper-thin.

    Cut each tortilla in half, then cut into triangles.

    Heat the oil in a pot or skillet. Fry the tortilla triangles until golden brown.

    Serve the chips with your favorite dips or spreads.
