Chana saag is available during February. It has its own taste. I usually prepare curry with it, but today I have tried to prepare paratha which I found delicious. I hope it will be well appreciated by my friends.

Chana saag is available during February. It has its own taste. I usually prepare curry with it, but today I have tried to prepare paratha which I found delicious. I hope it will be well appreciated by my friends.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan. When the oil is hot, add cumin seed and Ajwain and allow it to flutter.

Add chopped chana saag. Saute for 2mins. Add chana sattu and roast for another 2mins with low heat.

Add salt and other spices. Mix well. Remove the pan from the flame and set it aside to get it cool.

Take whole wheat atta in a bowl. Add salt and oil and mix well. Add water and make a smooth dough. Keep aside covered for 10mins.

Make 3-4 balls from the dough. In one ball, stuff the filling of chana saag sattu. Make round roti using belan. Roast both sides of the roti on tawa with ghee till golden brown.

With another ball prepared from the dough, make round roti with belan. Spread the stuffing on half of the roti. Fold the other half on top of it and press the corners gently to seal properly.

Cut the uncooked roti lightly with a knife in the shape shown in the photos. Roast both sides on the Tawa with ghee till golden brown.

Both round paratha and triangle-shaped paratha are arranged on a plate and decorated with red chili pickle, chana saag, and grapes.
