First, heat an iron kadhai. Add ghee, chana daal, urad daal, mustard seeds and let them crackle. Then add hing, curry leaves, red chillies, and give a good mix.

Then add onions, ginger and saute till aromatic. Add tomatoes and cook for a minute. Then add the vegetables, soaked millet and stir well.

Then add the sooji, mix well. Now add the seasonings, hot water and cook covered on slow heat till soft and done.

Garnish with cashews, chopped coriander leaves and serve with favourite chutney.
