With no time to think, i had to prepare a quick hearty meal, for my family of 5, out of whatever i had on hand. I mixed these ingredients together and crossed my fingers. Luckily, it turned out delicious and the family loved it! The meat is juicy and it makes a gravy and tastes great over homemade mashed potatoes paired with asparagus. Tonya Johnson (Ethridge) -

Pork Chop Bistek Pork Chop Bistek
"Bistek" or "Bistec" is a Filipino/Spanish loan word derived from the English "beef steak" and is generally made with beef sirloin marinated in soy sauce and calamansi/lemon juice. This is one well known variation, which is still called "bistek" despite being made with pork chops. Normally the dish includes red onion rings as garnish but I have omitted them as usual. 🇵🇭🐖 蛟龍Stormwyrm -

I really like using a griddle to grill pork chops. When cooking them in a skillet, use just a little oil to avoid splattering and making a mess in the kitchen. Jon MichelenaTranslated from Cookpad Chile
