Moonglet is an omelette without eggs.It is made of dhuli moong dal.To give it a spicy taste green chilli ,ginger ,chana masala are mixed .This is my city Ghaziabad's popular street food.I have made it in butter and for the fluffiness fruit salt is mixed. Served with mint chutney and sweet( saunth )Amazing taste!Do try this recipe!

Wash and soak moong dal in water for 2-3hours and then grind.Mix salt in the batter.Whisk it for 3-4 min.

Now heat a non-stick frying pan,grease it with butter.Take 2 ladles full of the batter in a bowl,add 1/2 t.spoon Eno fruit salt and mix.Pour this batter on the frying pan, sprinkle coriander leaves, green chilli, ginger and chana masala over it.Drop some butter on the edges of the moonglet and over it.

After 2-3 min.flip it over and cook from the other side.Make cut marks like Pizza and cook for 2 min.on low to medium heat.

Your delicious,super tasty moonglet is ready to serve.Serve it hot with mint chutney and sweet tamarind chutney.(saunth).
