Ingredients

  • 1 cupMakhana (Fox Nuts)
  • 1/2Apple chopped
  • 1 cupcurd /yogurt
  • 1 tsppowdered sugar or honey
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 4-5dates deseeded and chopped
  • 5-6Almonds
  • 4Cashewnuts
  • 3Walmuts
  • 2 tspCranberries
  • 1/4th tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4th tsp clarified butter/ghee

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and roast makhana (fox nut) /lotus seed till crunchy. Chop the apple into bite-sized pieces. Chop dry fruits and dates also. Lightly roast the dry fruits and set them aside.

    Strain or whisk yogurt till smooth. Add just a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt and mix. Blend makhana in yogurt. Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix. Also, add chopped apples or any fruit of your choice along with dry fruits and dates. Cover and refrigerate.

    Serve chilled garnished with some roasted makhana, cranberries, and mixed dry fruits.
