Steps

Firstly take a mixing bowl, add chicken pcs & all the given ingredients of marination, mix it well. Keep it in the fridge for 2 hrs.

Take a wok, add oil, heat it. In goes tejpatta & dalchini, saute it for 30 sec.

Now add onion, stir fry it until light brown.

Add grated ginger & garlic, saute it until rawness is released. Add very lil water to avoid burning. In goes salt now.

Meanwhile soak methi leaves in water with lil salt for 1/2 hr. Strain it, chop it roughly. Add in the masala. Mix it well.

In goes marinated chicken, stir fry it for a minute.

Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until chicken is almost cooked. Open the lid increase the flame, add garam masala powder & ghee, stir it for a minute.

Add 1 cup boiled water, mix it well. Cook it covered on low flame, until gravy becomes saucy. Turn off the flame, open the lid after 5 minutes.

Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with ginger julliens.

Can be served along with Tandoori Roti, Naan or Lachcha Paratha...
