Cauliflower-Tuvar-Peas Sabzi

Soak cauliflower florets in salty water for 5 minutes. Dry cauliflower florets on kitchen towel. Coarsely ground cauliflower florets in vegetable chopper. Coarsely chopped green pigeon peas/ tuvar dana and green peas/matar in vegetable chopper. Keep aside.

In cooking pan add heat oil. Do tempering of mustard seeds and asafoetida. Add green garlic chilli ginger paste and saute for 30 seconds. Add white sesame seeds and peanuts powder. Saute for 1 minutes.

Add coarsely chopped pigeon peas/ tuvar dana,fresh green peas /matar, sugar, baking soda and little salt. Saute, add 1/ 4 cup water, mix. Cover the pan with lid filled with water. Cook till veggies are tender.

Add coarsely chopped cauliflower, little salt. Saute, cover with lid filled with water. Cook till cauliflower is tender.

Add turmeric powder, lemon juice mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes without lid. Transfer it in serving bowl. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve /Relish Delicious Hot Cauliflower Tuvar Peas Sabzi with dal roti in meals as side accompaniment.
