Brussel Sprout and Apple Salad

This recipe is not only healthy but also great for people who have Blood Type A+. I have recently been eating for my blood type and wanted to share this recipe with everyone that I came up with. Feel free to add Gorgonzola or Blue Cheese if desired. Blood Type A+ can not digest dairy, so I didn't add. Enjoy! 😀

Steps
- 1
Begin by making your salad dressing, so it has time to marinate. (This can be done in advance, even the day before if you want.) To do this, combine the Shallot, Garlic, juice of 1 Lemon + zest if desired for a more bright lemon flavor, and Olive Oil, Maple Syrup, or Honey, Salt and Pepper to taste.
- 2
Next, shred your Brussel Sprouts in a food processor if you have one. If not, cut a thinly as you can with a knife or use a mandolin if you have.
- 3
Add Brussels to a bowl, then add chopped Almonds and sliced Apple. Top with Dressing and mix. Start with less dressing, and add more if desired. I didn't use all of it. Enjoy!
