The winter season comes, how can you forget to make peanut chiki. Made from groundnut and jaggery, this chikki is very nutritious. The protein of peanuts and the iron content of jaggery give our body a lot of nourishment in winters.
There are many different types of Chikkis made from sesame seeds, pulses, dry fruits, but the taste of groundnut Chikki is somewhat different.

The winter season comes, how can you forget to make peanut chiki. Made from groundnut and jaggery, this chikki is very nutritious. The protein of peanuts and the iron content of jaggery give our body a lot of nourishment in winters.
There are many different types of Chikkis made from sesame seeds, pulses, dry fruits, but the taste of groundnut Chikki is somewhat different.
Steps

Roast peanuts in a pan for four to five minutes until their pods split.

Roasted peanuts are to be pounded by hand and with the help of stainer the pods are removed.

Put these peanuts in a colander and chop them into small pieces with a pestle.

Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped jaggery and keep stirring it continuously. Once jaggery melts and bubbles appear on top, turn off the gas.

Take some water in a bowl and put three-four drops of melted jaggery in it and take it out and check if it has hardened then jaggery is ready.

Now add the prepared groundnut pieces and mix continuously on low heat.

Once everything is mixed properly, apply some ghee on a plastic seat and place the prepared chikki on it. And then when it cools down a bit, it has to be cut into desired size.

So here Peanut Chikki is ready to serve.
