Pressure cook overnight soaked moong upto 4 whistles. Chop onions and gourd

In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds, asofedita. Add onions and saute till pink. Add gourd, tomato puree and garlic paste, a cup of water and cook for 5 mts. Add moong and spices and cook for 10mts.

Moong dal with spone gourd sabji is ready. Add chopped cotiander and serve hot with chapati or Rotla
