Stuffed Paratha

Dal paratha is a stuffed paratha made with unleavened whole wheat dough, urad pulses and spices. This variation of stuffed paratha with lentils is popular in Indian homes. Enjoy this tasty savory dal ka paratha with curry ,yogurt, pickles and homemade butter.

In our recipe soaked and grinded daal fry with spices. This filling is then stuffed in the paratha. This recipe is versatile enough
We usually use urad dal to make these parathas. However you can also use moong dal or chana daal to make moong dal or chana daal paratha. The paratha's taste will change with mung lentils or chana lentils.

Take a mixer jar with soaked urad gram, hung, salt 🧂 and cup of water 💧

Take a pan add cooking oil till heated sizzle cumin seeds and fennel seeds then add grinded urad gram to it.
Add red pepper 🌶 powder, salt and garam masala to it. Mix it well with spatula. - 3
Take a piece of dough and make small balls and press it to make a bowl 🥣 shape. Fill filling into the bowl 🥣 shaped dough and cover it to make small ball.

With the help of rolling board and rolling pin spread it.
Take preheated Tawa GRIDDLE or Indian fry pan and put spreaded dough bread on the grill.
Spread cooking oil on both sides and fry it. - 5
Enjoy with tomato 🍅 potatoes 🥔 curry,caronde mirch,raita and salad 🥗.
