Wash strain & dry with a cotton cloth.Add turmeric,garammasala & 1tbsp ghee mix it well.

Heat a pan add ghee put cashew & Kishmish roast it,transfer a plate.In the same pan put whole garammasala bay leaf & cross ginger saute a mints,Add rice sauted nicely.

Add warm water double of the rice. Add salt.Cooked till 80 percent of the rice is cooked. Add sugar,r oasted dryfruits& saffron mix it well & cover it to cooked nicely.

Basanti pulao is ready.
