Fuss-Free Stir-Fried Lettuce

The lettuce in my fridge looked miserable and I had baby shrimp left over from making okonomiyaki! That's how this recipe was created.
I recommend adding a large amount of baby shrimp to add flavor. If the taste is too light, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. For 2 servings. Recipe by Umeakisakura

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Rinse the lettuce well and tear it with your hands into bite-sized pieces. Drain lightly.
- 2
Heat a frying pan with sesame oil and place the lettuce in the pan. The amount of lettuce may appear to be a lot, but not to worry.
- 3
Place the lid on the pan and steam for 1 minute over medium heat.
- 4
Remove the lid and cook the lettuce slightly until desired tenderness. Sprinkle the baby shrimp over the lettuce and turn off the heat.
- 5
After that, cook by preheating. Pour the soy sauce and mirin gently and evenly. Then it's done.

Simple and Nutritious! Lettuce and Baby Sardine Stir-fry Simple and Nutritious! Lettuce and Baby Sardine Stir-fry
Instead of eating the baby sardines as is, I decided to stir-fry them with some lettuce, adding a combination of seasonings as I went.Be careful not to overcook the lettuce. For optimal tastiness, it should be briskly stir-fried to preserve the crispy texture. So simple and easy, I'm not sure whether this can even be called a recipe, (or it may even already be posted), but here's another tasty combo: Stir-fry garlic and red chili peppers until aromatic, then add baby sardines and salt, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir-frying lettuce removes most of the water-content, so you can get a good dose of greens in this simply-seasoned dish.Don't cook for too long after adding the lettuce, otherwise it will lose its nice, crunchy texture (I say this, but I didn't follow my own advice when I left it in the pan to take pictures and it got too soft).
