Ingredients

  1. 2 cupschana dal
  2. 1 3/4cupsugar powder
  3. 1/4 cupghee
  4. as neededDry fruits chopped (almonds,pista, cashews)
  5. 1sp cardmum powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast chanadal to light brown on medium to low heat,then grind it to powder in a mixi jar.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee (keep two to three spoons and add if needed) add fried dry fruits and transfer to a plate.

  3. 3

    Add chanadal powder in the remaining ghee and roast to a nice aroma,cool for a while, add sugar powder, cardmum powder, dryfruits mix everything well..

  4. 4

    Press in Modak mould and besan modak ready.
