Cooking Instructions

This time, I'm using cheap shumai that cost 87 yen at half price. The pack contains about 10-12 pieces, so adjust the quantities if you have fewer.

Lightly sprinkle sake over the shumai and microwave according to the package instructions. For this shumai, it was 50 seconds at 600W.

After microwaving, lightly coat the shumai with potato starch.

Add a generous amount of oil to a frying pan and fry the shumai over medium heat until they are golden brown.

Mix the ◆ ingredients together. You can microwave them for about 20 seconds if you like.

Once the shumai have a nice golden color, toss them with the mixture from step 5 and they're ready to serve.
