I made this today at my Culinary school and it came out amazing . Healthy and fresh, no need for store bought anymore because its loaded with sugar and preservatives.

I made this today at my Culinary school and it came out amazing . Healthy and fresh, no need for store bought anymore because its loaded with sugar and preservatives.

Ingredients

  1. 10 ouncesRolled Oats
  2. 3 ouncesNuts any type
  3. 3 ouncesWheat germ
  4. 1once shredded unsweetened coconut
  5. 2once Canola oil
  6. 3 fluid ounceshoney
  7. 2 ounceslight brown sugar
  8. 3 ouncesDried fruits
  9. 1 ounceraisins

Cooking Instructions

    Mix oats, nuts, wheat germ and coconut together on a sheet pan with parchment paper under it. Toast at 325 till golden ( stay by the over and keep moving it around from time to time to achieve a unified golden color.

    Bring the oil and the honey to boil stove top and add a hint of cinnamon to it

    Pour the hot syrup mixture over the toasted oats. Coat well, add the sliced dry fruit

    Keep on the granola to cool on the sheet pan, cover with parchment paper. Once it’s cool store in a jar.
