This is the indian version of the salsa.A very simple recipe which you can use it as a side dish for idly/dosa/roti/pappad.Credit goes to ammachiyudeadukkala which inspired me.

This is the indian version of the salsa.A very simple recipe which you can use it as a side dish for idly/dosa/roti/pappad.Credit goes to ammachiyudeadukkala which inspired me.
Steps

Chop tomato into big size pieces

Chop onions, shallots, garlic into small pieces.
- 3
Mash all the 4 in a bowl using your fingers.If you find it difficult to mash using fingers, use back side of a steel tumbler.Mash well so that the tomatoes become pasty.

Add chilly powder, pepper powder(according to your taste), sugar, salt, and lemon juice to the above mixture and mash well.

Chop coriander leaves and garnish.

Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes before serving.
