1. Finely chop the onion.

2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the vegetable oil and mix well.

3. Set a takoyaki plate on one side of the hot sandwich maker and preheat on HIGH.

4. Once heated, brush with vegetable oil and spoon the mixture into the plate.

5. Rotate the meatballs with a skewer or similar tool to shape them into balls as they cook.

6. Pour in the sauce and coat the meatballs, then transfer to a serving dish.
