Ingredients

1 hour
4 servings
  1. 1 lb.ground chicken
  2. 1/4 cupdiced onion
  3. 1 jar“spsketti” sauce or a quart of homemade (I used homemade)
  4. Dashsalt and pepper to taste
  5. 1/2 packageSpsketti noodles
  6. Water
  7. 4-6 slicesGarlic bread, toasted

  1. 1

    Cook ground chicken and onions until chicken cooked through, and onions are soft; drain any liquid. (Rarely have any)

  2. 2

    Pour sauce over and stir until blended, simmer on low heat until all flavors meld.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, bring water to boil for the noodles, add noodles and a drop of olive oil to keep the noodles from sticking together. Check for doneness by tossing a limp noodle at your kitchen cabinet door. If it sticks, it’s ready 🙃.

  4. 4

    Serve sauce over noodles or combine it. Don’t forget the “pusher” aka garlic bread.

I love to bake sweet stuff, with a bit of savory tasty cooking thrown into the mix. Just good ol’ southern cuisine. Most of my recipes were handed down from my Great & Grand Grannies. If they didn’t grow it or raise it, it wasn’t eaten. My hubby and I have alot of food allergies so it gets challenging sometimes to make things that we both can eat. Neither of us can eat shellfish, which is sad, considering where we live, cuz it’s everywhere! Y’all won’t find any shellfish /saltwater fish recipes here. Some fresh water fishes, maybe. Hope y’all enjoy my recipes!
