Wash and soak Basmati rice in a cup of water for 15 to 20 mins at least.

Boil water in a kadai, add pinch of salt, oil
Tip - (adding oil to water gives the non-sticky nice,)
Once it comes to boiling stage, add Basmati Rice

Melt the ghee in a pan, add chopped onions and add pinch of salt
Fry Onions until it turns golden brown and keep aside

Meanwhile, in the same pan, add cashews, fry it turn Golden brown
Add red chilli, coriander powder, jeera powder, pepper powder, gram masala powder
Add lemon juice, pinch of salt

Now add the drained rice

Mix everything well

Now garnish with fried onions & cashews
