Ingredients

  1. 1 BoxPhyllo Pastry Dough (9"× 14")
  2. 2 PackagesFresh Baby Spinach (10 oz) [Remove Stems] & [chopped]
  3. 1Small Curd Cottage Cheese (16 oz)
  4. 2Eggs (Beaten)
  5. 2-1/2 lbsFeta Domestic Cheese (Crumbed)
  6. 1Onion (Finely Chopped)
  7. 5 TbsFresh Dill (Finely Chopped)
  8. 5 TbsFresh Parsely (Finely Chopped)
  9. 1 TbsLemon Zest
  10. 1/2 tspLemon Juice
  11. 1 BottleGhee Clarified Butter (13 oz)
  12. 2 TbsGarlic (Minced)
  13. 1 tspSalt & pepper (to taste)
  14. 2Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (8 oz)

Steps

    In a large bowl, add the following: feta, cottage cheese, eggs, salt & pepper mix well, then add onions, Dill, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, & zest & mix well.

    Then, add mozzarella cheese & mix well, then add spinach, salt & pepper & mix well.

  3. 3

    Butter a 13"× 9" baking dish with the ghee.

  4. 4

    Place 8 phyllo sheets in pan with Ghee between each layer of phyllo sheets.

  5. 5

    After the layers are down, pour the bowl of ingredients on top.

  6. 6

    Then, add 8 more sheets of phyllo dough with ghee between each layer. Fold edges & corners into dish.

  7. 7

    Add Ghee on the top of the bake.

  8. 8

    Place in oven @ 350°F until golden brown & knife comes out clean. [About 1 hr]
